Chicago Teachers Union Head inadvertantly admits she's a racist

Comrades Stacey Davis Gates and Bernie Sanders

Chicago, IL --Chicago Teachers Union head sends her son to a private school and said that people who send their kids to private schools are racist. The timing of the two ideas are not exactly back-to-back, because that would obviously look like hypocrisy, but in fact both facts exist.

A local journalist, who actually does journalisming, found that Stacey Davis Gates is sending her son to a private school as he was listed on a website that tracks high school sports.

So while Gates has long been fiercely opposed to school choice and described the ability for kids to attend private schools as being "the choice of racists," she has made the racist choice, if she believes her own words.

But maybe she only was applying her racism observations on other people's children, not hers.

In 2022 she posted that "school choice was actually the choice of racists" and that school choice has "racist origins." The union she represents has consistently taken a hardline stance against private school choice programs because private schools, which are generally better or else people who could afford them wouldn't send their kids to one, take money away from public schools and those union heads really enjoy money.

Chicago Teachers Union opposed the state's Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program for low-income students, which Illinois Democrats killed this year. For Gates to use the same choice her union just eliminated for low-income families is a middle finger to those families.

Shockingly, even CNN's Abby Phillip challenged Gates  on the issue with a few questions that had Gates filibustering about everything except the answer to the question.

LOGIC: Yes, she says people who send their kids to private schools are racist. She sends her son to a private school. Therefore she is a racist.
