Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu hospitalized: update

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was hospitalized on Saturday and undergoing an evaluation after "a medical incident at his home," The Daily Wire reports. It was later learned that he suffered a dizzy spell.

Netanyahu, 73, was discharged from Mount Sheba Medical Center on Sunday after an overnight stay for check-ups and monitoring after he felt dizzy at home. He now is reported to be feeling "very good."

A spokesperson for Mount Sheba MC said that the Prime Minister was in "excellent" condition after a series of tests, one of which was cardiovascular.

His office said that on Friday, he had spent the day at the Sea of Galilee, a popular vacation spot in northern Israel. Temperatures that day had climbed to 104 degrees Fahrenheit as the entire country has been feeling the wrath of Greta Thunberg's dire prediction and her disappointment in us for not obeying her orders.

After a series of medical exams it was found that Netanyahu was dehydrated. He had released a video after his hospitalization saying that he'd been out in the sun Friday without a hat and without water. "Not a good idea," he said.

Doctors ordered him to remain in the hospital overnight for further observation, and his weekly Cabinet meeting was delayed by a day and rescheduled for Monday, his office said.

Bibi, as his friends call him, is Israel's longest-serving prime minister, serving multiple terms over 15 years in office. His current government is a collection of ultranationalist parties and religious factions, which took office this past December.
