DHS Disbands BS Free Speech Deciders Board

Okay, it's actually called the Free Speech Governance Board but like with all things leftist, whenever they label something, you can bet the opposite is the case--like the Inflation Reduction Act. 

Anyway, the Department of Homeland Security--an agency that refuses to go away since the original 911 attacks in 2001--has decided that the public is too wise to be fooled with anything the Left calls 'free speech,' especially when it's the Left who was slated to decide what speech was free and what needed to be censored.

The extraordinarily incompetent DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that he's formerly terminating the Marxist-style department in a statement on Wednesday.

Mayorkas, who obviously pees sitting down, cited advice from the Homeland Security Advisory Commission in his decision to bring the board to an end.

“The Department welcomes the recommendations of the Homeland Security Advisory Council, which has concluded that countering disinformation that threatens the homeland, and providing the public with accurate information in response, is critical to fulfilling the Department’s missions.”

The only thing that currently threatens the homeland is the open border free-for-all this garbage administration is perpetuating. But if you think the DHS is concerned about closing the southern border, you're mistaken.

“We thank the Subcommittee for its work, which required extensive fact gathering and analysis over a short period of time,” the statement said.

Yes, it took an entire committee of progressive 'geniuses' to figure out that people are not going to stand for the censorship of their speech, although we haven't done much to assuage the situation on social media so far.

“In accordance with the HSAC’s prior recommendation, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas has terminated the Disinformation Governance Board and rescinded its charter effective today, Aug. 24, 2022.”

The Homeland Security Advisory Council released a report on Wednesday explaining why it decided to recommend the Disinformation Governance Board’s termination.

“The Department of Homeland Security does not have a broad remit to address all inaccurate information or disinformation, nor does it have the authority to silence or sanction anyone’s speech,” the council said.

It's nice to know that the DHS has finally removed their craniums from their nether regions.

However, these geniuses are recommending that relevant government agencies respond when they are targeted by alleged "disinformation." 

But they don't say who decides what's disinformation and what is truth. 

For example, if one says that there are only 2 sexes: male and female, and that chopping off one's body parts and using a person's skin tissue to look somewhat like genitals of the opposite sex does not change this fact, the woke police will call this disinformation, even though a child in kindergarten knows the answer to the questions: what is a woman and what is a man?

So this agency is gone but it's Marxism lingers on.

I struggle to understand why Mayorkas is the head of any government agency.
