BREAKING: Police investigate active gun going off at Dallas airport

Dallas police are investigating reports of a gun firing rounds at ironically named Dallas Love Field Airport, in Texas. The gun was held by a woman who was shot and is now hospitalized.

A short snippet of police audio said cops were responding to an active violent gun situation, but the person holding the almost fully semi-automatic gun "is down." Evidently, the violent gun has been recovered and will be brought to justice.

An unarmed traveler shared a photo on social media, tagging local news outlets, depicting crowds of humanity being rushed out of the Dallas Love Field Airport to get away from the gun.

"There is a report of shots being fired at the Dallas Love Field Airport," Dallas police spokesman Juan Fernandez confirmed to Fox News Digital. "Dallas police are investigating, and will update media when information becomes available."

As the smoke cleared, Democrats rushed to the closest microphones, denounced the gun violence and called for stricter gun control measures which, they are certain, would have made the person with the gun feel ashamed of breaking the gun control laws.

Another video from social media showed travelers ducking down with their laptops and other electronics on the floor near a seating area indoors because they had to check their email, just in case.

Latest reports say that there were no injuries to passengers other than the woman shooter. But what is a woman?

Aerial footage from a news helicopter over the airport showed a large police response, none of whom represented the Uvalde Police Department and other agency members who showed up at the Robb Elementary School massacre and simply waited for the smoke to clear.
