Woman's soccer player Megan "I Dig Chicks" Rapinoe isn't being talked about in the media over her anger over the gender pay gap that's due to the few people interested in women's soccer. This time she's in the news after being blamed for Subway fast-food franchise numbers that came in for 2021. The company is in trouble and they're blaming the national anthem kneeling lesbian for the company circling the bowl.
The New York Post reported that Subway had to close “1,043 more outlets across the US than it opened in 2021,” which diminished “Subway’s total footprint by nearly five percent.” And while Rapinoe may try to blame Trump for the situation, the franchise blames the coronavirus pandemic in part, and Rapinoe.

In 2020 Subway lost 1,609 stores, probably due to the pandemic, but as far as 2021 is concerned, there are several issues to potentially blame. For one, the CEO had tried to get locations to stay open more days during the week and work more hours to cover all meal shifts.
But the issue involving Rapinoe is that American customers aren't okay with a pink-haired "woketivist" flipping off the country with her kneeling for the flag and the Anthem, as well as being a ousy spokesperson for “women’s equality.” Franchisees were very upset after the ads began running primarily due to complaints by customers.
While the company promoted new sandwiches in their huge ad campaign with Tom Brady and Steph Curry, it drew copious complaints from franchisees last year over the hire of Rapinoe, whose demonstrable anti-American views had Americans going elsewhere for their calories.
In July of last year, franchise owners voiced their anger at the North American Association of Subway Franchises forum. One owner, obviously frustrated with the loss of his revenue went on social media and posted a note that a customer had taped to his door:
Seems @subway franchises are losing customers over the Rapinoe endorsement. This popped up at a shop in Wisconsin. pic.twitter.com/qg6KqGFW5o

Another franchise owner said at the forum that “Spending our money to make a political statement is completely and totally out of bounds.” Their concerns were reportedly fast-forwarded by a NAASF rep to the higher-ups at Subway.

There is evidently some truth to the "go woke, go broke" saying. Just ask Netflix and Disney.
