Homeless man slits woman's throat: she let him into her home, cops say

Police received a call from a woman who was bleeding heavily from her throat around 5 p.m. on Feb. 6 in Salt Lake City, according to their report.

The woman was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, underwent emergency surgery and her condition has been upgraded to stable.

A homeless man, who is evidently mentally deranged, slit her throat after she allowed him into her home so that he could take a bath, as he stunk like a pair of Joe Biden boxer shorts in the Vatican.

Cops responded to a call from the woman who was bleeding profusely from the neck.

The woman told investigators she allowed the man, later identified by police as 30-year-old Eric Jones, into her home to bathe. 

Jones was located by city police around 1 a.m. Friday morning and later booked at the Salt Lake County Metro Jail on one count of aggravated assault, but not for attempted murder, perhaps because he is a member of a victim group.
