"War is hell . . . hey, I made that up." |
Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Comatose (D socialist-NY) spoke candidly to Brain Flushings' correspondent Jim Schortz about her time as a Navy SEAL, much of which she spent in Afghanistan when the fighting was heavy and so was the music. This was way back in the days when Brian Williams was shot down over Kandahar and Rep. Ilhan Omar was married to her brother.
"I have to tell you," the hot Latina congresswoman began, "it was hell on Earth but I liked it. Yes, I actually liked taking the incoming and sending the outgoing to those sand monkeys known as the Taliban. It's a high that can't be described unless, like me, you've been there and done that."
Jim asked if she would go back there again in service to the country. "Would you go back there again in service to the country?" he asked.
"I would if I had to," she said in that nasal tone she's most known for, along with recipes from her abuela. "It's like a drug, killing those terrorists. I can't tell you how many lives I have personally saved by being there, but it's a lot; probably even more than Brian Williams."
"So what do you think of President Biden's decision to pull us out of there like he did?" Jim asked.
"Biden made the right call. He made the courageous call. He made the call he said he would make as president. If he hadn't called for military withdrawal when he did, our people in uniform would have been shooting and killing human beings because of the addictive nature of war. And don't get me started about the people who make huge profits from war while we all have to pay our taxes for it when we could be eliminating problems at home, like farting cows and conservative talk shows."
Schortz asked this final question: "But don't you think he should have pulled out American civilians and Afghans who helped us first?"
"What, and deprive us military of getting our rocks off doing what we came to do? Don't be a racist."
