Lebanese "Freedom from Jews Forces" attacked Israel by firing two rockets into Israeli territory early Tuesday, according to Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz. To Lebanon's disappointment Gantz said "Israel will act against any threat to its sovereignty and its citizens."
“We will not allow the social, political and economic crisis in Lebanon to turn into a security threat to Israel,” Gantz said. Lebanon has struggled with an unprecedented crisis, including an economic meltdown that has raised concerns of a surge in militancy there.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that they shelled southern Lebanon after the rockets were fired, without provocation. Israel intercepted one of the rockets and the second rocket may have killed a groundhog or two, if groundhogs are indigenous to Israel--google it--but no humans were hurt by the rocket nor was anything even damaged aside from a few bushes.

The rather useless UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon, known as UNIFIL, [sounds like a self-serve gas station] detected rockets on its radar fired from Southern Lebanon toward the Jewish State just prior to 4 a.m. and soon thereafter the IDF artillery responded.
Lebanon's jihadi army said Israel fired a dozen artillery shells at the Wadi Hammoul area, and General Mahmoud Ahmed Mohammad Mehmout al Muhammed said that it isn't fair. "We only fired two rockets and look at them. What in Allah's name are they trying to do? Kill us?"
This was the first Lebanon initiated cross-border attack since May, when the so-called Palestinian terrorists fired Iranian-made rockets at Israel in the 11-day war between Israel and the "Fightin' Hamassholes" in the Gaza Strip.
UNIFIL said it was in contact with military officials in Lebanon and Israel to “urge maximum restraint” and avoid further escalation. Both the peacekeepers and the Lebanese army increased security in the area and launched an investigation, the mission said, but Hamas is calling to defund the IDF.

Hamasshole Supreme General Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Azar Azziz claims that Israel doesn't fight fairly. "They refuse to allow destiny and karma to be left unfettered. "They keep shooting down our rockets. How dare they do that to us," he said.
Gantz responded, "This ain't World War Two, Azziz. We're gonna fight back so watch your collective butts.
