Oregon Governor Kate Brown (D-far left) waited as long as she could after blaming President Trump for the anarchy taking place in her state as she finally called in the Oregon National Guard to deal with the mostly peaceful rioting and violence in Portland.
The Multnomah County Sheriff's office called the situation "widespread violence," but it was mostly peaceful because not everyone was assaulted nor every business destroyed.
“In the interest of public safety, Brown, under the advice of the Unified Command, has activated the use of the Oregon National Guard to assist local law enforcement,” the agency said in a tweet.
President Trump had offered federal assistance months ago when the rioting and looting was in full swing, but Brown refused while her party blamed Trump for the problem. Many on the gullible left believed this nonsense as it went along with their confirmation bias.
“Guard members are trained in crowd control and will be riding with local response teams. They are dressed in military-style garb, which is their uniform,” the agency added.
The outburst of destructive protests comes a day after the contentious presidential election was held Tuesday night, but no clear winner emerged by Wednesday in the contest between Joe Biden and President Trump.

Portland has been the epicenter of violence and destruction since George Floyd resisted arrest and died of what was likely a drug overdose in police custody in Minneapolis. His death became an excuse for the Far Left to go window shopping in his memory.
On Wednesday, two groups of demonstrators rallied in separate parts of Portland before making their way downtown by about 7 p.m. local time, Fox 12 reported.
Some of the protesters then ran riot in the city, destroying ATMS, vandalizing buildings and breaking windows, according to the report in the name of something or such.
