A black man identified as Dijon Kizzee, 29, was riding a bicycle Monday afternoon in south Los Angeles when he was stopped by deputies for an unexplained code violation, as per the sheriff's department. This gave Black Lives Matter and Antifa yet another excuse to riot, and you can expect Tuesday night to be just that.
According to police, Kizzee fled on foot and was caught by deputies. He punched one of them in the face and dropped a bundle of clothing that he had been running with when he tried to get away, authorities said.
"The deputies noticed that inside the clothing items that he dropped was a black semiautomatic handgun, at which time a deputy-involved shooting occurred," Lieutenant Brandon Dean, of the LA County Sheriff's Department, told reporters using the passive voice in his wording.
A woman who witnessed the incident, named Deja, told the AFP that she was yelling, "don't shoot him, don't shoot him" as the deputies tried to stop Dijon Kizzee, who lived in her neighborhood and was resisting arrest, a very stupid move by anyone with a gun in their possession.
"They were trying to grab and take his stuff away from him and then finally when it failed, he turned around to run and they tased him in the back of his leg," Deja, who would only give her first name which sounds remarkably like the victim, said. "He turned around and then they shot him."
If they were "trying to take his stuff away from him," it seems logical that he was trying to get hold of his gun, and perhaps was successful when he turned around, but I wasn't there and, unlike CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the fake news media, will await further information.
Deja said deputies handcuffed Dijon after the shooting, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Several hours after the shooting, about 100 people gathered at the scene, many of them carrying signs that said "Black Lives Matter" and chanting "Say his name" or "No justice, no peace."
Ironically, Joe Biden refuses to say the name David Dorn or Antifa, so "silence is violence" only applies to the right.
