I often refer to CNN as the Compromised News Network and the Communist News Network. Today I will refer to them as I most often do : the Comedy News Network. Of course, they ought to be referred to as the Inadvertent Comedy News Network because they aren't trying to be funny, but you can't help but laugh at their stupidity.
The network's editor-at-large Chris Cillizza went on social media to attack President Trump regarding his stance on borders amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Since the Wuhan Coronavirus has continued to spread, President Trump's border stance has become even tougher between the U.S. and Mexico. In the spirit of Jim Acosta's CNN-style of "journalism," who stood in front of the border wall, built under Trump's administration and claiming that there was no need for a wall because there weren't any Mexicans trying to enter the U.S. at the wall, On Monday Cillizza tweeted:
"Viruses don't, uh, recognize borders."So President Trump, never the one to allow a "diss" to go "undissed," tweeted:
"THIS IS WHY WE NEED BORDERS!"
I'm not sure Cillizza has gotten the logic as yet. Hopefully he will try to think about it and be very careful not to damage his brain.
See Chris, like with Acosta who was upset that Trump built the wall because there were no illegal aliens coming from Mexico trying to get into the country BECAUSE THEY WENT ELSEWHERE TO A PLACE WHERE THERE WAS NO WALL!
Two idiots on the same network--priceless.
President Trump had always supported strengthening the southern border but as the Wuhan Coronavirus continues to spread worldwide, there has been a renewed call to increase border security to crack down on the transmission of the virus on top of the travel ban he had set against China as well as the majority of Europe. Even some Democrats see the usefulness of borders.
Some critics ridiculed Cillizza, the execrable CNN knuckle-dragger for the tweet.

"Cillizza thinks that this is a good point? People who carry viruses do, however, respond to checkpoints and border security," RealClearInvestigations senior writer Mark Hemingway reacted.
"How do you think viruses cross borders, Chris?" Human Events managing editor Ian Miles Cheong wrote.
"Cillizza’s hot take is 'viruses don’t recognize borders' as countries around the world are temporarily closing their borders," Daily Caller social media manager Logan Hall said.
"Viruses, uh, are transmitted by human beings," Washington Examiner reporter Jerry Dunleavy told Cillizza. Borders tend to keep out human beings, when they work, Chris.
"The curve of media intelligence has been flattened," comedian Dave Cooperman quipped.
