MO man from Bosnia gets 8-year prison term for aiding ISIS

Ramiz Zijad Hodzic, 45, came to the U.S. from Bosnia to pursue the Islamic dream of a world caliphate. But the Missouri man was sentenced on Thursday to eight years in prison for supporting terrorists, including an ISIS leader in Syria.

Hodzic backed Bosnian-American Abdullah Ramo Pazara, a terrorist who left Missouri for Syria in 2013 and was sent "packing for paradise" when he was killed fighting for ISIS.

Hodzic of St. Louis County, pleaded guilty last spring of providing material support to ISIS terrorists, authorities said. He sent cash and military equipment to several Middle East countries from 2013 to 2015 in order to help ISIS in their efforts to murder kafirs.

The terrorist supporter's attorney asked for a lighter sentence, claiming Hodzic mostly sent Pazara supplies like socks and that he loved the United States, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Three of Hodzic’s co-defendants have already been sentenced, but his lovely terrorist-supporting wife and another defendant who pleaded not guilty await sentencing.

Hodzic will be deported to some s**hole country after his prison term, authorities said.
