ESPN after LeBatard's attack on Trump wants to end network politics

ESPN president James Pitaro told his team to avoid "pure politics." This comes in response to Dan LeBatard's race-based, vicious attack Thursday on the President of the United States.

Pitaro ordered the distribution of a memo reminding his leftist employees to shut up when it comes to politics because ESPN stands for Entertainment and Sports Programming Network, not Everyone Spews Politics Network.

On an ESPN radio show Thursday, host Le Batard lambasted President Trump about racism and his remarks about the "Squad," those anti-Semitic, socialist congresswomen at a recent political rally.

The semi-genius also slapped his own employer, ESPN, for not having the guts, the virtue and moral fibre like he has, to address political issues that have nothing whatsoever to do with why people tune into the network.

“There’s a racial division in this country that’s being instigated by the president, and we here at ESPN haven’t had the stomach for that fight.

"The 'send her back' chant and the 'go back to where you came from' chant are so antithetical. It is so wrong what the president of our country is doing, trying to go down getting re-elected by dividing the masses at a time when the old white man — the old, rich, white man — feels oppressed, being attacked by minorities, black people, brown people, women. That's who we're going after now."

“We here at ESPN haven’t had the stomach for that fight, because Jemele [Hill] did some things on Twitter and you saw what happened after that, and then here all of a sudden nobody talks politics on anything unless we can use one of these sports figures as a meat-shield in the most cowardly possible way to discuss these subjects."

Because it's the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network, you dope.

ESPN suspended Hill, a former SportsCenter co-anchor, in 2017 for violating ESPN's social media policy. She caused a national furor when she called Trump a "white supremacist." Not to mention earlier disgusting homophobic tweets she had to delete and initially claimed she didn't post them.

Pitaro had previously correctly said that ESPN is not a political organization,  despite years of pandering to left-wing politicians and causes.

Everything isn't about politics. People watch sports for the skills, the moves, the home teams. And many of them actually like President Trump, so LeBatard [who obviously had to slightly shorten his name] is insulting Trump's supporters.

Just stop it.
