Here we go again. You remember the deal with all those folks who were angry at Michael Avenatti--the porn lawyer who was supposed to run against Donald Trump on the Comedy News Network ticket--one of them is a paraplegic man who was allegedly screwed out of his settlement of $4 million. Now that man is suing the former CNN star, seeking a minimum of $9.5 million in damages.
The crap weasel lawyer allegedly forced Johnson in March to sign a statement describing Avenatti as an ethical attorney, [seriously] roughly one month before Avenatti was indicted on a litany of federal charges.
Avenatti called Johnson’s accusations “categorically false and frivolous” in a statement Friday to The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Allegedly, Avenatti concealed the settlement money from his client, Geoffrey Johnson, for several years while draining its funds for himself. If true, this would define Avenatti as one of the scummiest lawyers of all time and possibly one of the worst people to be affiliated with CNN aside from Jim Acosta, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo.
Avenatti denies the claim as he denies all the other allegations against him. This is merely the latest blow against him.
Johnson received a $4 million settlement in early 2015 after suing Los Angeles County for alleged abuse from guards and inmates while he was held in jail, the lawsuit states. Johnson had been improperly arrested as a result of mental health issues, according to his attorneys. [Welcome to Avenatti's world.]
The complaint names the shyster lawyer, Avenatti, his law firm and his former colleagues as defendants. Avenatti is already facing criminal charges for the accusations listed in Johnson’s suit as well as other accusations. Even porn performer Stormy Daniels [aka Stephanie Clifford] has stopped calling and wants nothing more to do to him, if, indeed, she did.
For years after the scumcrumpet received the settlement on Johnson’s behalf, Avenatti led the paraplegic man to believe that the county hadn’t yet paid the settlement and would only pay it out over a period of years, according to the lawsuit. Avenatti allegedly paid Johnson a $1,900 monthly “advance” on the settlement.
“In approximately February 2019, Johnson asked Avenatti again about the status of the special needs trust and settlement payment. Avenatti falsely told him that Los Angeles County had not yet begun releasing the settlement funds,” the lawsuit states, which if true, is a baldface fib.
Johnson lost his Social Security benefits beginning in February as a result of Avenatti’s alleged lie, according to the complaint. Avenatti allegedly provided the Social Security Administration with “false information” in “a further attempt to hide the siphoning of Johnson’s settlement funds and the successful, years-long effort to cover it up,” the complaint states.

Avenatti plans to fight the charges made by Johnson and he also plans to fight President Trump in a televised MMA battle to the death, but he may have to do so in the slammer.
That's almost a good as the night Trump won the presidency and that crazy woman screamed at the sky.
