Ann Coulter would vote socialist if it would get tough immigration policy

Ann Coulter is admittedly tough on immigration but who knew that she isn't a conservative? She used to back Trump when he spoke about building the wall, but now she says that she would be willing to vote for Comrade Bernie Sanders if he would take a hardline stance on immigration.

According to Fox News, Coulter spoke about the famed old fart democratic socialist in a preview clip from PBS's "Firing Line with Margaret Hoover." When asked if she would support Bernie Sanders if he campaigned on "getting rid of low-skilled workers" to try to secure higher wages for others," Coulter said she would.

"If he [Sanders] went back to his original position, which is the pro-blue-collar position. I mean, it totally makes sense with him," she said. "If he went back to that position, I’d vote for him. I might work for him. I don’t care about the rest of the socialist stuff. Just — can we do something for ordinary Americans?"

Fox News noted that Coulter was referencing Sanders opposing an immigration reform bill in 2007 that he claimed would drive down wages for workers. Most recently, Sanders hinted he was opposed to open borders. Unlike Coulter, however, he is not anti-Semitic.
"What we need is comprehensive immigration reform," Sanders said earlier this month in his thick, Brooklyn accent. "If you open the borders, my God, there's a lot of poverty in this world, and you're going to have people from all over the world. And I don't think that's something that we can do at this point. Can't do it. So that is not my position."

Coulter's purported willingness to vote for Sanders if he adopted a hardline immigration stance is just another indicator that she has distanced herself from Trump, allegedly for his not holding up his campaign promise to build the wall, and abandoned all of her principles because she is apparently a one-issue voter.

Since 2016, she has single-handedly turned immigration into her only important issue. She has gone so far as to say that then-candidate Trump could perform abortions in the White House so long as he kept his promises on immigration.

As President Trump's tenure persisted, Coulter grew increasingly impatient with the man she campaigned feverishly for in 2016, regularly bashing him on Twitter and her articles for not keeping his campaign promises. Their feud reached a fever pitch earlier this year when President Trump told reporters she was "off the reservation," which peaked the ire of Liz Warren who called that slogan 'cultural appropriation.'
