AOC justifies her huge Al Gore-like carobon footprint: 'I'm just living in this world'

"Do what I say, not what I do."

I'm not certain who first said it, but I can imagine those words could be the sentiments of say, Kim Jong Un or Nicolas Maduro. Perhaps any dictator might say them because it can serve either a suggestion or an order. But when it isn't an order, it's simply hypocrisy for anyone to tell you what to do when they cannot bring themself to do what they preach.

Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Communist (D/socialist-NY) has responded to reports that, despite being the author of the extremely ridiculous environmental legislation known as the Green New [Delusional] Deal, she has an exceedingly larger carbon footprint, like Al Gore, than the average American, and does not appear to have made any changes to her lifestyle, despite her apocalyptic environmental predictions that begin with the word 'like.'

According to the New York Post, AOC justifies her office's use of carbon-spewing combustion engine vehicles and frequent air travel by noting that she is just “living in the world” [and screw you, you gullible peons.]

“I also fly and use AC,” AOC tweeted Saturday night, with an imaginary middle finger emoji punctuating her thoughts. “Living in the world as it is isn’t an argument against working towards a better future.”

And leading by example is just so December 7, 1941-ish.

But the socialist hypocrite isn't simply "living" the average American lifestyle. According to a groundbreaking expose from the Post, the Green New [Delusional] Deal brainchild -- who proposes completely ending domestic air travel, eliminating cow farts by eliminating cows, and replacing all combustion engine vehicles [known as gas-driven cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters and SUVs] with vehicles that operate solely on electricity -- frequently uses Uber, Lyft, cabs, and car-sharing services, and flies all over the place.

Like nearly all politicians, Alexandria Obviously-Communist doesn't have to abide by the legislation she proposes --just everyone else does.

"Since declaring her candidacy in May 2017, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign heavily relied on those combustible-engine cars — even though a subway station was just 138 feet from her Elmhurst campaign office," the Post reports. "She listed 1,049 transactions for Uber, Lyft, Juno and other car services, federal filings show. The campaign had 505 Uber expenses alone."

'In all, Ocasio-Cortez spent $29,365.70 on those emissions-spewing vehicles, along with car and van rentals — even though her Queens HQ was a one-minute walk to the 7 train," the Post claims. And aside from spending taxpayer money [which is the national sport of socialists] she has basically crapped on the environment she so ardently claims to worry about.

In contrast, her office spent only around $8,000 on subway rides, even though both Washington, D.C., and her home district in New York are well-served by public transportation systems. A similarly situated freshman Congressman, Rep. Max Rose (D-NY), whose district is twice the size of Ocasio-Cortez's "listed only 329 transactions for car services, totaling $6,091.29."

AOC's team members are also big fans of air travel, despite it's known outsized contribution to climate change, "logging 66 airline transactions costing $25,174.54 during campaign season."

Rather than admitting she can do a better job at putting less carbon emissions in the atmosphere, she attacks those who point out her miscreant galavanting about.

The fact sheet of her plan admitted that the Green New Deal was the first step in an effort to remake the country's entire economic system and institute a massive "universal jobs" program that would guarantee "living wage" employment to all Americans, and even a "living wage" to those who are "unable" or "unwilling" to work.

That sure sounds like a lot of people are going to love that idea, where they can get paid to sit at home, cut their toenails and light their flatulence with a match to save the planet.

But wait, that's not all the Green New Deal does. The Post writes:
In order to address what Ocasio-Cortez believes is a crisis of apocalyptic proportions -- and which she believes will bring about the end of civilization within 12 years -- the GND robs Americans of any subjectively "dangerous" technology, and forces Americans to make huge sacrifices in the name of environmental stewardship -- sacrifices Ocasio-Cortez should be leading the way on.
It's really hard to believe that we've devolved this far as a nation. It should scare every one of us, but the left seems to agree with socialism, forgetting its massive history of failure and death.

AOC really needs to be a one-term wonder. She is not very bright and her enthusiasm for socialism and the Democratic sycophants that fear to oppose her, have created a dangerous situation.

And she's a hypocrite of the highest order.

I hope you'll follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint. Politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.
