Alexandria Occasionally Conscious-Cortez passed over for tax-writing committee

Democratic socialist [aka: "socialist"] Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Damsel in distress--NY) had a plan to implement her far, far-left unworkable agenda but it hit a major wall on Thursday. She was passed over for an influential seat on the tax-writing committee, a forum where she hoped to ruin the economy of the nation.

The seat was previously held by the guy she beat in the primary, Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), the guy who was too lazy to campaign and was upset in the Democratic primary for New York's 14th Congressional District.

"Instead, the open downstate New York slot on the House Ways and Means Committee went to a moderate [aka: slightly less crazy] Democrat, Long Island Rep. Tom Suozzi, a former CPA, attorney and county executive," The New York Post reported.

"Ocasio-Cortez sought a spot on the committee — which is usually off limits to low information freshman reps — with the backing of progressive groups that pushed for a slate of fresh-faced candidates to earn posh assignments."

Occasionally Conscious-Cortez's spokesman Corbin Trent said: "She hoped to be on it, but we’re excited to see what committees she does get."

Hopefully the committee she will be assigned to is the one that chooses party balloon colors for rep's birthdays.

It's a new year and the world still hasn't come to an end with President Trump in the White House, in spite of what the media and the left [but I repeat myself] would have you believe.
