Kareem Hunt released by KC Chiefs after video shows him pushing and kicking a woman

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt not only sits for the National Anthem, he shoves and kicks women as a newly released surveillance video shows. It happened in an Ohio hotel this past February.

The video was obtained by TMZ and shows Hunt arguing with a 19-year-old woman at the Metropolitan Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. The incident took place February 10th at around 03:20.

You can see him approach the teenage woman and say something then he shoved her. An unidentified man steps in and the woman hits Hunt in the face. Then some of Hunt's friends get involved as he appears to go ballistic and he shoves the woman who falls and grabs her head.

Hunt then comes over to her as she is crouched down on the floor and he kicks her because he is so brave.

Cops were called but no arrests were made that morning because the cops didn't know if a crime had been committed. After all, maybe she had it coming to her, they may have thought.

The teenage woman is reportedly a Kent State student and told law enforcement that the argument started when she refused to hook up [aka:have sexual relations] with one of Hunt's friends.

A female friend of Hunt claimed the woman was acting belligerently and struck her.

A report from ESPN said that following the release of the video, Hunt was excused from practice at the facility pending further action.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said in August that he believed the running back “learned some lessons” prior to this season's start. Specifically, check for cameras before kicking teenage women who you've pushed to the floor.

"Kareem is a young man, second year in the league, obviously had a very big year on the field last year," he said in speaking of the February incident. "I'm sure he learned some lessons this off-season and hopefully won't be in those kind of situations in the future."

Hunt has since been released from the team in spite of the Chiefs owner trying to cover for him by using his youth and how much he has learned from his behavior.
