Sen. Chuck "Flaming Nostrils" Schumer tried to circumvent Federal Aviation Administration rules by talking on his cell phone after the plane's captain announced to shut all phones off for takeoff.
The flight attendant saw that he was still yacking it up after the captain's announcement and approached him. Schumer asked if he could finish his call and the attendant said "no" because the plane was being held until he shut off his phone.
Chucky was sitting next to Kirsten Gillibrand who initially tried to provide Amy Schumer's uncle senator with public cover after it was discovered what he called the flight attendant.
The man whose nostrils could house a gaggle of bats was overheard calling the attendant a "bitch" by a House Republican aide who was seated nearby.
Just wait until all those leftist feminists hear of this. They'll definitely not give Schumer a free pass.
The incident occurred on a US Airways flight from LaGuardia to Washington D.C. on Sunday.
After Schumer ended the call, he started to argue with the attendant and said that he was entitled to chat until the cabin door closed.
The GOP aide told Politico.com, "She said she doesn't make the rules, she just followed them.
"Bitch!" Schumer exclaimed through his jet intake honkers after the attendant walked away and he felt safe.
Gillibrand lied for Schumer saying that he was "polite" and that "he turned off his phone when asked to."
The GOP slammed Chucky and circulated news stories about the "b" word. Once word got around, Gillibrand was outed as the liar liberals often are and issued a walk-back statement.
Schumer ended up apologizing because we now live in a world where apologies are a daily event from some politician.
Gillibrand's aide and makeup man, Glen Caplin said, "Chuck did the right thing by apologizing," then attacked Republicans for "trying to score cheap political points from the incident."
What in the world did he expect Republicans to do?
After the incident, Chucky honked that he was sorry.
"The senator made an off-the-cuff comment under his breath after the flight attendant walked away. He shouldn't have made it, he regrets it and he has apologized for it," Schumer's spokesman Brian Fallon said.
Yes, he said it softly so the attendant wouldn't hear it, but Gillibrand would and think him a rough and tough guy with oversized nostrils.
And you know what they say about men with big nostrils.
"He's not nice," a flight attendant, who has served the entitled senator before, said of him.
