Sperm counts plunge along with necklines in dresses

With the advent of political correctness, everyone gets a trophy, the vegan diet, and gender-identity based on mental illness, it's no wonder men's sperm counts are dropping like the skivvies of a Bill Clinton aide.

New research demonstrates that sperm counts are drastically dropping across the Western world and I suspect the correlation over the new man-shaming may have something to do with it.

According to researchers from Hebrew University-Hadassah Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine in Jerusalem (the capital of Israel), sperm count of men living in developed countries has dropped an enormous 50 percent over the last 40 years.

If the trend continues, there is a potential for a decline in men's health, fertility and even the possibility of extinction if this doesn't turn around. 

"This study is an urgent wake-up call for researchers and health authorities around the world to investigate the causes of the sharp ongoing drop in sperm count," Hagai Levine, the study co-author said.

Data was collected from 185 studies examining sperm count and concentration in men from North America, Australia, Europe and New Zealand from 1973 to 2011. They found that total sperm count declined by 59.3 percent and sperm concentration declined by 52.4 percent. 

That's huge!

The study also found that men in South America, Asia and Africa--where men were men and the women appreciated it--found no serious decline. Of course, not many studies have been conducted in these regions, but c'mon, there's a cultural difference, isn't there.

Researchers believe the phenomenon is linked to exposure to chemicals and pesticides to lifestyle choices, including smoking, obesity and stress. And the "heroic" transgender craze hasn't helped little "Corky the Sperm Cell" flourish.

If this continues, the human race can be doomed.

Daniel Brison, an embryology and stem cell biology specialist at Manchester University (GO TADPOLES!) said "An unanswered question is whether the impact of whatever is causing declining sperm counts will be seen in future generations of children via epigenetic (gene modifications) or other mechanisms operating in sperm."

I still believe part of the reason is the way men have been made to feel that being a man is toxic, as in "toxic masculinity."
