A man wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying two throwing knives was apprehended last night as he tried to get into Trump Tower.
Adames Benitez, 52, a Bronx resident, claimed to be a U.S. Senator saying he wanted to see Ivanka Trump, the President's daughter. She is currently traveling with her father and the presidential party in Europe for the G20 summit.
Benitez was carrying forged ID, authorities said, which was quickly spotted by police when they recognized the word 'Senator' was misspelled "Senitore.'
The poser was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a forged, misspelled instrument and criminal possession of weapons.
He was later taken to New York Hospital for a psychiatric examination.
It was soon discovered that Benitez "heard Hillary Clinton's voice, man" telling him over and over, 'I should be THE FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!'
"Over and over, man. I couldn't take it. I had to do something."
Proving once again that people would do most anything to shut off the shrill sound of Hillary Clinton's voice.
