Bernie and Joan Sanders 'lawyer up'

Sen. Bernie "Wall Schtreet" Sanders (Idiot-VT) finally broke his silence on Tuesday regarding the FBI inquiry into his lovely socialist wife Jane and her alleged misuse of funds for her failed college.

Bernie called the allegations a "pathetic" and politically motivated attack.

"My wife is about the most honest person I know," the socialist senator said on CNN's [fake news] "OutFront" on Tuesday. "All that I will tell you now is it's a sad state of affairs in America when not only we have politicians being deeshtroyed . . . but when you go after people's wives. That's pretty pathetic."

What Bernie is saying is that Joan, like himself, should be above the law.

He also suggested that the inquiry was politically motivated but wouldn't elaborate because there was nothing to elaborate about.

"That's all I'm going to say. I think it's fairly pathetic that when people are involved in public life, not only do they get attacked, but their wives and their families get attacked," he said, possibly alluding to Melania and Barron Trump, but probably not.

The FBI is reportedly investigating (as opposed to 'looking into the matter') whether Jane Sanders falsified loan documents while she served as the president of Burlington College, the crummy Vermont liberal arts school that went bankrupt in May 2016 and even failed to meet its accreditation standards.

Both Bernie and Joan have since lawyered up.
