Hey Bernie--socialism this

With presumptive felon Hillary Clinton enjoying a fairly decent lead over presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump in the race for the White House, the only good thing that has emerged from this situation is that Bernie Sanders has a snowball's chance in Islamabad in July of winning the Democratic nomination for president.

And it's hotter than hell in Islamabad in July.

But let's not talk about Islamabad, let's talk about how things are working out with socialism in Venezuela.

Who's the richest person in Venezuela?

Ding! Time is up--it's  Adele Chavez, the daughter of Hugo Chavez, the dead former leader of the socialist country.

This is the typical result of socialism--the elite not only rule, they line their pockets while the rest of the country starves.

And this is literally what is taking place in Venezuela; people are starving. They are attacking food delivery trucks and now the nation's food is transported under armed guard. Bernie would say that the food should be "dishhtributed to all the peepul," but the people who are getting first dibs are those elite I mentioned.

The military stand guard over bakeries and police fire rubber bullets at hungry mobs storming grocery stores. With even toilet paper getting very scarce, it's likely that soon rubber bullets will as well.

A 4-year-old girl was shot to death by a stray bullet as street gangs fought for food.

In one city, hundreds attacked a supermarket screaming for food and forced open a metal gate as they stormed inside the store taking flour, cornmeal, potatoes and anything else they could grab as they knocked over shelves.

Not one person in that mob wore a "Che" tee shirt.

In spite of the fact that Venezuela has one of the world's largest oil reserves, not of that wealth goes to where naive socialists like Bernie say it should go. Human nature dictates that it goes to the dictator.

There have been over 50 food riots, looting on a huge scale and protests that have often been met with police resistance and rubber bullets. Five people have been killed at last count, and more are likely to die.

This situation happened in 1989  in Caracus, on an even larger scale in which hundreds died at the hands of government security forces known as the "Caracazo" or "Caracus clash." The cause of the riots came from low oil prices, subsidy cuts and sudden poverty of the population.

So Bernie, we know you enjoyed campaigning throughout the country in a private jet. We know you believe that socialism is a good thing because its Robin Hood approach gives to the poor what belonged to the wealthy. We know that you have never actually created a job and outside of being a leftist politician, the only job you had was a pornographer.

So long, it's been good to know ya, Bernie.

Now all we have to deal with is Hillary Clinton who's in the back pocket of Wall Street but accuses Trump for that which she is clearly guilty.
