If Ariana Huffington was told that a Muslim baker refused to bake a wedding cake for a same sex couple, how would she respond? How would any leftist respond, you might ask. But to the contrary, it isn't a dilemma for the left because they will always respond in favor of Islam.
The new Huffington Post Arabic edition is a sick marriage of the Left with Islam. The Left has done nothing to defend women, gays, Jews and other non-Muslims against the often violent oppression of Sharia.
Even when the Left defends gay rights, forces Christians to bake wedding cakes or be the photographer at a gay/lesbian wedding, they turn a blind eye when it comes to Islam.
And while gays and lesbians throw verbal spears at us "right-wing Islamophobes," it is only we conservatives who actually defend their rights to be whatever they are.
Ian Burrell writing for The Independent (August 10, 2015) posted: "Huffington Post causes outrage after Arabic edition criticises gay people, atheists and selfies." He explains how Ariana's readers, generally leftists, are angry over the "vitriolic outbursts including a piece by an Egyptian contributor on Saturday complaining that atheists were being allowed on Egyptian television and that the Government permitted 'a press conference for gays in the heart of Cairo.'"
Another article on HuffPo Arabic condemns selfies as a symptom of "the diseases and the viruses of the Western world."
Good show, Ariana. I hope you're happy, you idiot.
HuffPo's executive international editor Nicholas Sabloff claimed that the blog comments "do not reflect HuffPOst's global editorial viewpoint." He claimed that Arabi would offer "diversity and balance," except if you're gay, lesbian, a woman, Jew, or any other person they deem to be infidel.
