Dear Mr. President

Dear Mr. Obama,

Please put down your golf club, pick up your phone, and speak to the president of Mexico. Demand he set Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi free from prison. We Americans are asking you to do the right thing.

Andrew has been incarcerated in Mexico since last March; it's going into the 7th month and it is all because the Marine made a wrong turn at the border. He knew he had weapons in his vehicle and told this to authorities. These weapons were perfectly legal in the US but they arrested him anyway, rather than allowing him to turn his car around.

Mr. President, we know Andrew Tahmooressi is not a traitor to the United States and served honorably for our country. We know Andrew did not desert his unit in a combat zone nor give aid and comfort to the enemy like Sgt. Bergdahl. But please don't hold that against him.
