While Egypt falls apart, Obama drives and putts, makes a six minute speech, then goes back to putting around again. Remember, Obama supported Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood and now he's caught between Iraq and a hard place. Morsi won the democratic election, but the promises Morsi made to the people were never kept. Just because an election is democratic doesn't make the government fair and people-oriented.
Since the camel dung hit the fan, over 700 people were murdered. This may seem like a slaughter to us, but to the Muslim Brotherhood jihadists, it's makes a good point. There is nothing more than the MB wants than to take back their power to take away the rights of women, non-Muslims, and those who don't walk in lock-step with their theocratic agenda.
Since Muhammad was beheading Jewish tribes on the desert, the blood still flows and will continue to flow because that's what Islamists do--it's their agenda in their quest to make the world their halal oyster. So get real, Mr. Obama, this is something you need to stay away from--let them solve the Islamic crisis themselves. You are not going to do anything for Egypt or the Muslim world in general, and you are not even liked by the Egyptians. Read the writing on the wall--literally.

My latest novel, Jihad
Joe, is about Islamic
terrorism and suspense. In it I challenge the precepts of the religion
through my protagonist, Zed Nill, a journalist, captured by terrorists and who
is destined to be killed if the American President refuses to release three
Gitmo prisoners. Of course, American policy demands we never give in to
terrorists, and for Zed, the clock is ticking.
