The Taliban is upset with the entire United States of America because one mentally ill soldier went on a shooting spree, killing civilians. The Taliban wants us to leave but before we go, they also want as many of us to die as possible. They've wanted us dead long before we got set foot in Afghanistan; in fact, I'd say for about as long as they knew we, as a country, existed. We are the infidels, the unbelievers, the kafir, and to them, the untouchables. We refuse to "submit" to Allah, therefore we must die. This is not new--this is the way Islam has been since Muhammad walked the earth, killed thousands in the name of Islam, grabbed booty, took slaves and wives, and had sex with a nine year old baby girl named Aisha, who became the profit's wife (not a misspelling). Obama, to his credit, has not yet apologized to the Afghans, but he promised to get to the bottom of this horrible act of violence and extended his warmest regards to the Muslim Brotherhood's spiritual leader, Khalid Sheik Omar bin Mohammad Muhammad Mohmad Ali. The blind, deaf and dumb sheik said that it is too late for apologies and asked for the head of the person responsible for the killings. When Obama, the Chevy Volt of presidents, promised he would do just that, the cripple, crazy and blind sheik said, "No, I meant that literally--I want to see his head on a silver platter." The President's reply was vague and noncommittal, but he told the sheik that he did not see anything in the Constitution that prohibited a sitting President of the United States from bowing to the demands of an Islamic request, particularly when it was coming from the Muslim Brotherhood.
We have seen the change that was promised by the Apologizer in Chief--he has changed the meaning of freedom of speech and religion. He has changed the concept of who is entitled to what. But he has also given us hope. Intelligent, patriotic Americans hope that Obama will be a one-term wonder; and we will always wonder why this country elected someone who they knew so little about, to the most powerful position in the world.
