Ohio Republican Gov. Mike DeWine (RINO) made the GOP have a cow last week after he vetoed a bill that was designed to protect children from having their genitals mutilated and other "gender affirming care" such as using chemical castration drugs or removing their breasts.
Republicans from across the country criticized him for his woke stance, and while we don't know if he walked back his veto due to pressure, we do know he has no sense of morality or ethics. In any case, DeWine ended up walking it all back and he signed an “emergency” executive order Friday banning transgender surgeries on minors.
Unfortunately for the naive minors in Ohio that was just about the only thing that was banned. The original bill put forth by the Republican majorities in the legislature went well beyond genital mutilation and drugging kids, so the Ohio trans movement remains alive.

So not only did the Republican bill dubbed the SAFE Act end gender mutilation of children, it also prohibited physicians from prescribing cross-sex hormones or puberty-blocking medicine [you know, the castration elixir aforementioned] for children.
Even more, the bill banned men from competing against women in sports, a situation that in many cases have resulted in life-changing incidents and in others where mediocre athletic men grabbed world records and trophies against top women in the sport.
At least the new order would bar physicians from performing gender-transition surgeries, such as mastectomies and hysterectomies, on kids in Ohio’s hospitals and health-care facilities, and boys can take their balls and go home.
For now, do not believe a word this RINO governor says when explaining what he stands for. He stands for Mike DeWine and he needs to be primaried in the next Ohio gubernatorial election.
