Dirtbag who filmed killing of retired police chief arrested

The scumbag who sat in the passenger seat of the car that intentionally mowed down a retired police chief who was riding his bike, has been apprehended and arrested Tuesday. So now both the driver and the other POS are behind bars.

Due to his age and that of the teen driver, their identities are protected. Both are facing murder charges in the hit-and-run murder of Andreas Probst, 64, in Las Vegas last month.

“It’s a complete lack of conscience on a part of it and the worst part about it in the video is you hear that everything was intentional,” Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Detective Lieutenant Jason Johansen said.

The passenger idiotically filmed the gut-wrenching video showing that Probst was deliberately struck and left for dead while he was on his morning bike ride around 6 a.m. on Aug. 14. As it was happening, you could plainly hear the driver asking his passenger friend, "ready?"

Then he speeds up behind the unsuspecting Probst as the other POS passenger tells the driver, “Yeah, hit his ass,” just before mowing him down and killing him as he rode in the designated bike lane.

“Damn that n*gg* a got knocked out!” the passenger says as the driver can be heard stepping on the accelerator.

The killing was the most severe in a string of crimes the pair allegedly carried out that morning, authorities said. The pair also allegedly struck a 72-year-old man at around 5:30 a.m. leaving him with non-life-threatening injuries.

They are also accused of intentionally ramming into a second car traveling nearby before setting their sights on Probst, a retired police chief with 35 years on the job.

The scumbags stole no less than 4 cars that day to carry out their mindless violence.

The 17-year-old POS who ran Probst down was arrested the same day as Probst’s death on suspicion of hit and run.

Suspicion? These morons filmed their spree.

Authorities announced the upgraded murder charge after video of the incident surfaced. Prosecutors said both teens will be tried as adults but will not face full charges due to their tender age, which is nonsense.

It took police five weeks to track down the passenger, who was wearing a mask in surveillance footage obtained by investigators. But the video alerted cops by a school resource officer who had been given the video by a student.

Probst’s daughter, Taylor, said she doesn’t believe her father was targeted because of his history in law enforcement.

More likely he was targeted because he was an easy target for the soulless garbage that some of our youth has become. Not all, just some.

Clark County District Attorney Steve Watson — a self-proclaimed cycling addict — vowed that he would personally work on the prosecution’s case against the two alleged scumbags. [I say alleged but there was video evidence they did it.]

“When I saw this video, it touched me in such a way. Such a way that other bicyclists can appreciate,” he said.

Probst’s family said Tuesday that they believe the senseless killing was caused by the effect “social media has on our youth” — not because of his 35 years in law enforcement. Both teens will be tried as adults, prosecutors said.

I believe it has more to do with the absence of a strong and decent father figure in the home. I don't know for sure that this is the case here, but I would bet it is. It may also be due to the hunger for fame that losers like these two crave, and two things can be true at the same time.

“Andy’s life was robbed by two individuals who did not believe that the lives of others matter,” his daughter Taylor said, calling her father a “man of honor and integrity.”

“He was a little league dad, an honorary member of Girl Scouts … and he was always there for the various activities we go we’d get into as a family. His colleagues remember him as a real-life Peewee Herman. He was a jokester, a prankster and always had a way to make you laugh.”
