The Jan. 6 committee refuses to allow former President Trump to testify on live tv after he received their extraordinary subpoena by the House committee investigating the Capitol Hill incident. They will not permit him to speak freely in real time about the role he is being accused of playing by alleged congressional investigators regarding the 2020 election.
The committee might as well be run in Australia where there are actual kangaroos that can be called upon to assert their claims against Trump, because without them allowing for a defense, this has become nothing more than a kangaroo court-like proceeding.
The mere fact that they will not permit a live response from Trump, who is being accused of wrongdoing, suggests that they will only air video that supports their claim by taking it out of context. At least any free-thinking individual would consider it as such.
Leading the kangaroo court's charge is a RINO; her name is Liz Cheney and is the kangaroo court's vice chair. It was she who rejected the possibility of a live broadcast of Trump's testimony. For his part, the former President said that he might consider complying with the subpoena if he could answer questions in live testimony.
Cheney (RINO-WY) spoke on NBC's "Meet the Press" saying, “We are going to proceed in terms of the questioning of the former president under oath. It may take multiple days, and it will be done with a level of rigor and discipline and seriousness that it deserves. We are not going to allow — he’s not going to turn this into a circus.”
They already have but few people are watching the performances of the clowns.
“We have many, many alternatives that we will consider if the former president decides he is not going to comply with his legal obligation, a legal obligation every American citizen has to comply with a subpoena,” Cheney said.
Nobody knows what Trump is going to do. He could go along with the subpoena or try to negotiate with the so-called committee. He can also defy it, like Eric Holder did, or ignore it and even try to stop it in court.

If he complies with the clowns in this circus, I believe he is making a big mistake by legitimizing this nonsense and taking the focus away from issues the voters need to be aware of and focused upon.
