Anonymous folks who know of Newsom's plans told The Wrap that he was "undeniably, unequivocally" going to run for president if Biden does not run.
A top fundraiser inside the state who is close with the governor told the publication that “after this midterm election is over, he absolutely is going to announce that he is running for the presidency once Biden announces that he is not running.” The big question is, however, will Newsom make that announcement in the California Governor's mansion, or at the famous French Laundry Restaurant where he is known to dine with his political friends.
“No ifs, ands, or buts,” the person said. “He will run if Biden does not.”

This comes as a big surprise to people who are mentally incompetent or don't own a computer or TV.
The not so shocking news came after the babbling POTUS appeared on a CBS "60 Minutes" interview with Scott Pelley, after seven months of going dark from media interviews. The show aired on Sunday when Biden was asked whether he will run for re-election and he refused to give a clear answer, much like all answers that he gives when he is uncertain that he is the president.
“Sir, are you committed to running again, or are there certain conditions that have to be right?” Pelley asked.
“Look, if I were to say to you, I’m running again, all of a sudden, a whole range of things come into play that I have – requirements I have to change and move and do,” Biden responded, noting that election laws played a factor in his answer.

“And it’s much too early to make that kind of decision. I’m a great respecter of fate. And so, what I’m doing is I’m doing my job. I’m gonna do that job," he claimed. " And within the time frame that makes sense after this next election cycle here, going into next year, make a judgment on what to do.”

Not much in terms of decisions, beyond ice cream choices and toilet locations, have been made in his own head.
