Beth Barts [you don't want a typo on her name, that's for sure] is a far-left Louden County School Board member--oops--was a school board member. Barts has resigned her illustrious position mainly because she couldn't take the heat.
Barts was first elected to the school board in 2019. Unbeknownst to the parents in the district, she was a strong advocate for Marxism and thus pushed for Critical Race Theory to be implemented in the classroom and indoctrinated in the craniums of children. Once parents found out about her leftist intentions, they came to district school board meetings like they were giving out free donuts.
The public became aware of the problems within the Louden County School Board and verbal clashes with the parents, and it made national Fox News.
Naturally, the legacy media sided with the commies and gave the Biden-Harris-Sanders-AOC administration cover to the point where they tried to convince the American people that the parents involved in the protesting of CRT and pornography in the classrooms of their children, should be considered domestic terrorism.
See how the left always gets things butt-backwards? Tyranny and the forcing of ideas is the real problem.
So Barts turned in her resignation effective November 2, 2021 and thus has preemptively avoided an ongoing recall attempt, which would be as probable as sundown.

She even lied about the decision to resign:
“This was not an easy decision or a decision made in haste. After much thought and careful consideration, it is the right decision for me and my family,” she said in a statement Friday. It was a decision to avoid embarrassment of being voted out on her butt.
“I am grateful to have had a role in empowering students to achieve academic and personal successes in supportive and most importantly inclusive school environments. I am especially proud to have participated in helping steer the Loudoun County Schools System through the uncharted waters of educating students throughout a global pandemic,” she claimed, using all the cliches in her arsenal.
You don't empower students by indoctrinating them. You don't empower students by enabling them in primary school to read and see pornographic material. That's child abuse and the entire board should be held accountable for doing that to the kids.
But the main reason Barts may have decided to run comes amidst criticism of the Louden County School system in which the superintendent of the district lied to the public at a June 22 meeting, stating that to his knowledge, there were no records of assaults in school bathrooms in his district. Thanks to a recent Daily Wire report, that lie bubbled up like a Bart bubble in a bathtub.
