The Spanish flu of 1918, the Asian flu of 1958, and the Hong Kong flu of 1968 weren't racist in the pre-Trump era. But according to the useless Kamala Harris (D-CA) the term "Chinese Virus" is racist, now that President Trump has accurately defined it as such.

Harris' Senate Resolution 580 bill condemns "all forms of Anti-Asian sentiment as related to COVID-19." It cites "Chinese Virus," "Wuhan Virus," and "Kung Flu" as inaccurate rhetoric perpetuating anti-Asian stigma.

I'll give her the Kung Flu, although it's kind of funny and in no way racist, but the other terms are accurate, as mentioned, and are no different than previous descriptions of flu origins.

But for Democrats, everything that comes from the other side of the aisle is racist. They have to pull the race card because they don't have a policy card that makes sense and base the color of someone's skin a deciding factor on how to cast one's vote.

Harris' bill calls on public officials to denounce such rhetoric in any form. It also calls on law enforcement officials to investigate, document, and prosecute the perpetrators of hate crimes against Asian Americans.

Harris's resolution is currently cosponsored by a host of Democratic senators, including the dumbest senator they have in Mazie Hirono (HI) and the phoniest senator in Elizabeth Warren (MA).  No Republicans were involved in their stupidity.

During the coronavirus crisis, Harris has been critical of her Republican colleagues and nasally said they need to transcend partisan politics and support legislation to "protect" Americans. She didn't mean it, but it sounded sincere.

In a recent letter to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), she reprimanded him for his decision to vote for a subpoena related to an ongoing investigation of former vice president Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, who, she believes, is above the law.

"Rather than prioritize providing important oversight that will protect Americans from the unprecedented threat posed by this pandemic, you have continued to pursue partisan political matters … that do nothing to help the millions of constituents that we serve. This is a clear abdication of responsibility," she honked.

The terms "Chinese Virus" and "Wuhan Virus" were used by U.S. officials and some news outlets early in the coronavirus crisis, which led to condemnation from the Chinese government for which Harris stands behind and defends, like the good leftist that she is. Even some members of the American news media have referred to the virus accurately, which causes Harris and other leftists the vapors.

Interestingly, in a Washington Free Beacon report,  they found that even the Chinese state-media outlets routinely referred to the pathogen as the "Wuhan virus" or "Wuhan pneumonia" through mid-February. Hopefully Harris will not call for the Communist Chinese government to put an end to that rhetoric in the manner the Communists tend to put an end to things.

President Trump defended his use of the term "Chinese Virus" in March, saying it is "not racist at all" and pushing back on Chinese propaganda saying the virus came from the United States, which is where Harris and her ilk would like to put the blame.

Meanwhile, the Chinese government is planning to name a restaurant dish in honor of Kamala Harris. They plan to call it "Sum Dum Dork."
