The highly flawed QB's workout was anything but awe inspiring, but at least some good came from it as Kaepernick's receiver, Jordan Veasy got signed.
Kaepernick was invited by the NFL to a special workout in November in Atlanta, Ga. and was originally planned to be at the Atlanta Falcons training facility. But at the last minute [actually it was 30 minutes prior to the plan] the big-haired QB pulled a switch and his representatives changed the location to a high school stadium.
In spite of his behavior, while many teams who were "disappointed that Colin did not appear for his workout," a number of team representatives did arrive at the field he chose.
But it may have been a bad day for the guy who refuses to stand for the national anthem and wore "Pig" socks as a sign of police hatred. He sucked last month as much as he sucked before he was benched and subsequently decided to take a knee during the anthem.
The NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, who is generally a wimp when it comes to controversy, noted that the unprecedented workout for Kaepernick was "about creating an opportunity": "We created that opportunity. It was a unique opportunity, a credible opportunity and he chose not to take it. I understand that."
"We've moved on."
It isn't you, Colin, it's me.
Buh bye. Take good care of yourself in your Nike shoes, "Cops are Pigs" socks and tattoos.
