Blow-up sex dolls safer than sex robots

Life-like sex robots have become the latest craze among life's losers in love, but they may pose an STI problem. STI's are sexually-transmitted infections, something that is less common among blow-up sex dolls because those can be washed after use and sex robots tend to get upset when you put them in water. Believe me, getting punched in the pubes by a "sexbot" is not fun, especially if you get their wires slightly crossed.

Experts are warning that STI's are not the only problem you might acquire with these hot items; impotence and the normalization of sexual deviancy is also possible.

Lovers of these life-like sperm receptacles can cost as much as $15, 545,000. Some say they provide society with an aid to "harm reduction" because they offer an outlet to guys who have a problem with the ladies.

Some even claim the sexbots help reduce sex crimes against women and children, but Dr. Chantal Cox-George of St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and Professor Susan Bewley, from King's College London, say that there is little evidence this is true.

Some fear that sexbots make illegal behavior more socially acceptable, such as having sex with an inanimate object made to look like a human.

Researchers warn that medics must steer clear of having sex with a sexbot as this may cause them to lose public trust. "Doctors might be advised to avoid using sexbots themselves," they added, "given police interest, prosecutions, and the potential negative impact on public trust."

Some "experts" believe the lack of human intimacy may exacerbate erectile dysfunction, and they also fear that the use of sexbots to "treat" pedophilia or live out violent sexual fantasies, my help normalize those behaviors.

U.S. companies such as Roxxxy Gold and Harry Harddrive are selling these hot bots hand over fist and the demand is expected to grow.

In the UK, Sheffield University Professor Noel Sharkey, chair of the Foundation for Responsible Robotics, had already warned the public that "the sex robots are coming" [no pun intended].

"The manufacturers are doing a massive marketing job on the health benefits of sex robots, particularly for therapy, and yet there is absolutely no evidence for this," Sharkey said.

It looks like we are going to soon discover the benefits and problems we are bringing into our lives.

Will they help or destroy marriages? Will they cause STIs? And as they grow in number and human functionality, will they demand fidelity?
