Romney Takes Michigan and Arizona

 Santorum had his shot tonight but he blew it.  You don't badmouth JFK's stance on church and state, and although he tried to walk it back by mentioning his wife and daughter and their independence,  you don't minimize the role of women in our society and expect to win.  While Romney only won by 3 points, he nevertheless won and Santorum didn't, but he made Romney spend money like a drunken sailor on liberty.

Charles Krauthammer, on FoxNews, said that the Republican brand has been damaged by this GOP nomination process, and I fully agree with him.  Republicans have been beating the crap out of each other while Obama plays more golf and laughs at them--they're doing his job and since he doesn't like to work, why start now?

Paul discloses secret Mason handshake

I'm just a bit surprised that lran Paul beat Newt.  Paul is like a broken record when it comes to what he would do--nothing, because the Constitution told him so.  Of course that isn't true--it's very clear that the role of government is to protect its citizens and Iran is a country we need to carefully consider when it comes to the possibility of war, and Paul wants a totally "hands off" isolationist policy in spite of the clear probability that they are going nuclear. I keep flashing on Paul chuckling while a mushroom cloud forms on the horizon.  We cannot afford to be wrong on Iran.

Well, my fire has died out and that is a good time to end this piece.  Let's pray the GOP wins in November, especially the Senate, which I actually think we will--big time.
