Hollywood leftists who vowed to leave US if Trump won lied to us again

Sharon Stone, Cher, Barbra Streisand still here

So many celebrities told us months ago that if former President Donald Trump won the 2024 election [again] they would leave the country. Obviously, they were so sure Vice President Kamala Harris had the election 'in the bag' that they put their boasting out there.

Some of the liars include Sharon Stone, Cher, and Barbra Streisand.

"I am certainly considering a house in Italy," Stone told the Daily Mail in July. "I think that’s an intelligent construct at this time. This is one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression."

The nation evidently disagreed with Stone because rumor has it that Trump won bigly.

Cher, for her part, was interviewed by the Guardian and said, "I almost got an ulcer the last time. If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the country]."

She hasn't even started packing, sources say.

Barbra Streisand told former funny man Stephen Colbert that she would not be able to "live in this country if he becomes president," and admitted she'd probably move to England because her foreign language skills are on par with her political acumen.

Representatives for the three women did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

President elect Donald J. Trump

Celebrities have lied about leaving the country after elections for years. Doug Eldridge, founder of Achilles PR told Fox News Digital, "Every four years, you hear the same recycled rhetoric from celebrities. It's become a running joke at this point. It's ‘all talk, no walk.’"

In 2016, celebrities such as Whoopi Goldberg, Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, George Lopez and others lied about leaving if Trump was elected. He was and they didn't.

When Trump first ran, Cyrus [who may have invented the twerk] wrote on Instagram, "My heart is broken into a 100000 pieces…I am moving if [Donald Trump] is my president! I don't say things I don't mean!" She later posted an emotional video on X accepting Trump as president and asking him to "treat people with love." So she said something she didn't mean and thus lied.

Amy Schumer, cousin of Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said on BBC’s "Newsnight" that year, "My act will change because I will need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain or somewhere. It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s just too crazy."

Amy Schumer

She later said her remarks were just "said in jest" as she expressed her disappointment with the 2016 election results on Instagram. In other words, she lied and covered it up by saying it was all a joke.

While it's unclear if Streisand, Cher and Stone actually plan on leaving, Eldridge says their move should have "little to no impact" on their success. But the American public, who voted for Trump in an electoral landslide and popular vote majority, will not be effected due to the fact that the trio are mostly irrelevant. Of course, Streisand may sing a song about leaving America, and Cher may have an acting role as an angry grandma, while Stone may find a role in the Movie "Six." But don't hold your breath.

Christina Applegate

"Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights," Christina Applegate wrote on X, a woman who under the former Trump administration had all the female rights she is now claiming she would lose.

The one thing I believe the American public has showed us is the left's over estimation of the value Hollywood celebrities have on us now.

And pollsters, journalists, and the Democratic Party are having a cow.
