Does Harris still want to decriminalize prostitution?

When Kamala Harris was San Francisco's District Attorney, (a position she may have indirectly acquired from taking various "positions" with the then-Mayor Willie Brown, who was a powerful figure in the state) she advocated for the decriminalization of prostitution. She wanted a shift in focus from arresting prostitutes to instead targeting pimps and the johns who paid for sex. This is known as the "Nordic model" where selling sex is fine, but buying it is not.

Kamala has always had a big heart on the side of prostitutes.

But now that she's running for President, her stance, like every other policy and word salad, is ambiguous. She has not said one word about her past stance and she refuses, or is unable to, clarify where she stands.

Axios asked her campaign about her position regarding prostitution but they declined to answer or make Harris available for a brief interview, as that could prove catastrophic for her in the election.

However, in 2019, when asked if she thought "sex work ought to be decriminalized," she replied, "I think so, I do," adding that "we can’t criminalize consensual behavior as long as no one is being harmed." [Then why go after the johns or the pimps?]

If Darwin's theory on evolution is correct, Harris might eventually develop eyes in back of her head for having walked back so many issues in order to get elected. Since becoming the Democratic nominee for president, Harris walked back a number of past positions, such as Medicaid for All, banning fracking, and giving the two million illegal aliens [and future Democrats] a pathway to citizenship. And all of a sudden, as Trump is fond of saying, Harris has promised to allocate millions of taxpayer dollars toward building a border wall, which she has in the past referred to as "un-American" and a "complete waste of taxpayer money that won't make us any safer."

Trump says Harris is "flip-flopping on everything that she's believed in for the last 20 years," but to believe that one would have to assume that Harris ever believed in anything. She will say she believes whatever is most expedient for her political advancement and will change that belief for the same reason.

In her 2020 White House bid, she said she supported decriminalizing prostitution and went to her go-to move of pointing to her record as San Francisco's DA. "I was advocating then that we need to stop arresting these prostitutes and instead go after the Johns and the pimps, because we were criminalizing the women," Harris said.

That would be like going after the drug users and allowing the dealers to go free.

Harris is a dumb person who has gotten this far all for the wrong reasons.
