Northern Israel civilians targeted by Hezbollah rockets and drones

An apartment building in Shlomi took a hit Saturday afternoon after Hezbollah decided to treat northern Israel to another delightful afternoon of rocket and drone launches from southern Lebanon.

The IDF said most of the incoming party favors were intercepted, and thankfully, no one was injured. Small mercies in a region that specializes in none.

Separately, some fragments from Israeli interceptor munitions decided to take a nap in an open area of Karmiel. Because why not add a little housekeeping to the day?

Acre, showing the kind of common sense sadly lacking in much of the region, announced that its schools will remain closed through Sunday thanks to the heavy rocket and drone barrages courtesy of Hezbollah.

This little love note from Iran’s favorite proxy comes as representatives from Iran and the United States were sitting down to chat about a ceasefire after nearly six weeks of this delightful Middle East fireworks show.

Pakistani and Iranian sources, in a shocking display of self-awareness, suggested Lebanon should be tossed into the ceasefire mix. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump, however, made it clear: Lebanon is a separate issue.

As they say, some problems you just don’t bundle with the others.
