Breaking: Professor shot dead at Delta State U.

Breaking: A male professor, whose name has not yet been released due to the active situation, was shot dead this morning at Delta State University. The campus is on lock-down, according to the school's Twitter account, and anti-Second Amendment activists are already busy pulling out their Sharpies and making anti-gun posters according to one of my embedded school sources.

Jennifer Farish, the university's spokeswoman, said the situation remains active and that it's unclear if anyone else was wounded. The students at the Cleveland, Mississippi campus are being told to stay away from windows, but with the way education is going these days, they simply may not understand why.

The governor's office and the Institute of Higher Learning are helping out in the investigation, as well as the Cleveland police, Mississippi Highway Patrol and the Bolivar County Sheriff's Department, according to Fox News

The FBI is monitoring the situation while the GOP is praying they monitor it faster than Hillary's email server.

Police choppers are in the air and campus buildings are in the process of being swept by police officers.

The school has about 4,000 students, many of whom attend classes. The town of Cleveland, Miss., has about 12,000 folks and is located about 38 miles northeast of Greenville.

I sincerely hope nobody else was hurt and that they catch the killer quickly.
