Pennsylvania Democrat caught on video threatening to shut down a bar, gets kicked out, bad-mouths staff

Rep. Kevin Boyle, a Democratic Pennsylvania state representative was seen on video allegedly harassing bar staff at a local restaurant. [H/T Fox News.]

The Democrat represents part of Philadelphia County and is now under investigation  after a video taken a Gaul and Co. Malt House in Rockledge Township, shows him appearing to argue with bartenders and threatening to close down the bar because he's an important person in the Democratic Party.

"I can end this bar by the way," the subject identified as Boyle (D) said in the video posted to social media. "I’ll end this bar."

"This bar is done. Do you know who I am?" the left-winger continued. "The bar is done tomorrow. Do you know who I am? This bar is done!"

The word "done" can imply that someone or something has reached the end of their effectiveness or capabilities, or that they no longer are able to continue a specific activity or pose a threat [H/T to  Chat GPT 4.]

The Montgomery County Police Chief told reporters that police officers arrived at the restaurant around 12:18 a.m. on Thursday following a 911 call from the bartender.

Rep. Boyle (D) has not been charged with any crime and police say there is no evidence of him getting into a vehicle following the altercation because the town is Democratic and tends to protect their own no matter what the offense.

"We are aware of video circulating on social media. It is very troubling. Rep. Boyle [D] has been open about his personal challenges. We are encouraged that our colleague and dear friend is seeking help," the statement said of the Democrat.

According to local outlets, the statement added, "Our commitment to delivering mental health services does not stop at the Capitol Steps. One of the main reasons we advocate so strongly for mental health access is the reality that challenges can and do happen to anyone, and seeking treatment should be encouraged, not stigmatized."

Police say that they are investigating the "threats" made by Boyle (D) in the video. Boyle has yet to issue a public statement on the alleged outburst and is currently "doing a Biden."
