Media Matters with Meatballs

Billionaire, Businessman, Socialist, Traitor
Every news organization is going to have their own bias on issues, that is simply human nature, but when an organization does so, it should cite its sources clearly, and let the reader decide the accuracy and honesty of their reporting.  When an organization is tax exempt, it is spelled out fairly clearly that they cannot advocate for one political party over another.

Worse, when a media organization, (read Media Matters), CEO puts out an enemies list consisting of conservative corporations, journalists, and donors to conservative organizations, we have to wonder what has become of the profession of journalism.

This is what dishonesty looks like
Media Matters (MM), with the help of a so-called reporter named Ben Smith of Politico, launched an all out attack on the Fox network, attacking Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, and Fox News websites.  When Smith published his story on Media Matters' war against Fox, he conveniently left out important parts from the information he had, consisting of an 89 page document.  Thus, no mention was ever made about how MM actually targeted organizations other than Fox.  So the public never got to hear about their plans of attack on Eric Cantor, the Cato Institute, or U.S. Senate candidate, Carly Fiorina, to name a few.

MM also had an enemies list including News Corp executives: Rupert and James Murdoch, Chase Carey, Lawrence Jacobs and David DeVoe.  Conservative news sites were on the hit list as well, consisting of WorldNetDaily, BigHollywood.com, NewsMax, and BigGovernment.com.  Conservative donors including: Peter Thiel, Richard Mellon Scaife, Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, John M. Olin Foundation, and Koch Family Foundations, were listed as enemies by MM.  And of course, Fox executives and Fox personaities like Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity had to be included in their smear campaign.

I don't need to go into the political figures on the list, you can get them at The Daily Caller (DC) website:   http://dailycaller.com   and see the entire list yourself.  But the obvious point this makes is the duplicitous nature of Media Matters while pretending to report the facts.  Liberals always want conservatives to shut up, while conservatives want liberals to keep talking.  They always show their true nature, even if it takes their youth a while to catch on.

"Constitution this"
I believe the public is finally beginning to catch on to what's going on with this administration.  According to an informer to DC, every Tuesday evening a representative from MM attends the weekly Common Purpose Project at the Capitol Hilton on 16th Street in Washington, where dozens of progressive organizations discuss strategies, and there is often a representative from Obama's administration in attendance.  MM also began a weekly strategy call on the White House with White House staff and even met with Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama's closest advisors, as well as with Anita Dunn, a regular at those meetings.

So should Media Matters be tax exempt?  I'm beginning to think that if we taxed progressive (read Socialist) organizations that are wrongly exempted from paying taxes, we would knock off a substantial chunk of our debt.  Then if Obama threw in a quarter every time he lied, that would knock off a lot more.
