Nancy Pelousy

Pelosi speaks about killing babies & convenience
"Women can die on the floor, and health care providers will not intervene. I cannot even describe to you the logic of what it is they are doing." This is just one of many idiotic statements Nancy Pelosi has made against Conservatives, and she said it in reference to the Protect Life Act, passed yesterday by Republicans.

The bill bans federal funding for abortion and it bans women from using tax subsidies from the health care law to buy insurance that cover abortion, except in cases of rape, incest, or when the health concerns of the mother come into play. The latter case, by the way, is very rare, but is often used as a liberal's excuse for an abortion.

So Pelosi would rather take away the rights of religious organizations to refuse to murder babies in the womb, than to force the women who want to murder these babies to go elsewhere for a "health care organization" that would provide this "service."

President Obama has threatened to veto the bill, and liberals, who now want to be called "progressives" (in spite of the fact that there is nothing 'progressive' about them), are saying Republicans are wasting their time on this issue when they should be working on the jobs situation. Isn't it amazing how liberals refuse to take any responsibility on anything that they screw up?

Pelosi  implied what liberals have been implying since Dwight Eisenhower was a Buck Private, that Republicans don't care about people, and it is only liberals who hold the moral views in this country. History has proven that she could not be further from the truth. Even in this case, Republicans are not saying that women should not be given medical treatment and left to die on the floor. This kind of Pelosi rhetoric is stupid and dangerous. They are simply saying that in most cases where a woman wants to kill their unborn baby, (they call it 'terminate a pregnancy'), taxpayers should not have to provide this service. For many, it goes against their morality, and it is not fair to ask them to pay for this. And for health care providers with an anti abortion philosophy, such as Catholic organizations and others, it isn't fair to force them to provide this service as liberals want them to do.

Pelosi and the rest of the liberals who think they are the moral mavens of America, might ask themselves what the world would be like now if, say, Steve Jobs, an adopted child, had a biological mother who decided to abort him in the womb. It might have seemed the easiest way for Jobs' mother to go, but she didn't.

Imagine if liberals always had their way. Now that's frightening.
