Translating the Buttigieg word salad

Transportation Secretary in absentia, and Alfred E. Newman lookalike, Peter Buttigieg, was asked a question that should have had an obvious answer, but it didn't.

MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, on Wednesday night's "The 11th Hour," asked the gay Transportation Secretary, “Could the president possibly consider authorizing the Keystone XL pipeline, working something out with Iran?”

His answer seemed to baffle the minds of English speaking Americans:

“Look, the president has said that all options are on the table. But we also need to make sure we’re not galloping after permanent solutions to immediate short-term problems,” the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana said, referring to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the deaths of thousands as a short-term problem. The more important thing for liberals is to make sure the U.S. energy sector stops using dependable energy and instead relies on wind and clear sunny days to generate electricity.

For now, the Biden administration and the idiots who stand behind their solutions have suggested we should defund Russia's energy industry by buying our oil from good ole friendly Iran, a country that openly wishes us, along with Israel, "death," rather than re-opening the Keystone XL Pipeline because of the bad orange man who was responsible for lowering a barrel of oil to around $50.

We know, however, that if we buy our oil from Iran, they will spend the money wisely.

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) on Twitter, blasted Buttigieg’s response as “a word salad of bureaucratic BS. The left wing in Washington is doubling down on energy illiteracy instead of learning more about real energy security solutions.”

On Thursday, Ruhle’s MSNBC colleague, the androgynous Chris Hayes, and host[ess?] of “All In” repeated the idea.

Hayes retweeted a message from Ryan Cooper, editor of the leftist magazine The American Prospect, who said, “Iran has 103 million barrels of oil loaded up on tankers and ready to go.” Cooper then tagged President Joe Biden. Hayes amplified the message, adding, “If you’re a) devoted to cutting off Russia’s oil revenues and b) worried about inflation and spiking oil prices, this is one possible solution…”

Cooper later replied to Hayes by saying his plan would see Iran “sticking it to the [U.S.-based] private equity frackers who are raking in fat profits!” Because leftists would rather see America's enemies profit than Americans they envy.

These were the like-minded A-holes who stood up and chanted "USA. USA," when our brain addled president gave the SOTU on Tuesday. They were quietly mumbling "down with the" before shouting "USA." Anyway, buying oil from enemy nations, oil that we already have here, is a good indication the left hates America.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded to this lunacy with a tweet of his own:
Actually, giving billions to American-murdering terrorists is a really bad idea. https://t.co/zzUuaHN5wP

The left would have the taxpayers purchase oil from Iran while they sit across the table from them and the Russians with the idea of trusting Iranian terrorists to halt production of their nuclear ambitions when they proved they could not be trusted the first time a nuclear deal was being considered.

“Energy security is national security,” said Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) on Fox News this week. “We should be ramping it up here, and ratcheting down on President Putin and Russia, and yet this administration refuses to do that.”

A permanent solution is for us to use fracking and the Keystone XL Pipeline along with fracking for energy independence and end our relying on countries that can hold this over us whenever they want to gain that power.

When it comes to energy independence in the USA, the left takes a knee.
