"He's Just a Hacker, So Why Bother?" It's Not My Job, Man

So is Edward Snowden merely a "29 year old hacker," as president Obama said, and not worthy of his intervening to try and get him back to the United States, where he is to tried for espionage, or is Snowden dangerously more than a simple hacker? I don't know. And I would bet that you don't know either, not really, because in order to truly know, you would need to learn what information he has given up to China, and now Russia. Was this young Woody Allen look-alike just bragging to the world, inflating his ego to sound important, or is there more than meets the eye? Obama has changed his tune about Snowden because he knows that Putin isn't going to cave to his whining.

Liberal Logic

Isn't it interesting how the Democrats are against probing deeper into the IRS scandals while the GOP is champing at the bit to do just that? First they claim that liberal or progressive groups were treated the same as tea party and other conservative groups--that is, they were also targeted by the IRS. And somehow, if this were true that would make it okay with them. So, as long as the IRS unfairly targets Americans, as long as it doesn't discriminate any particular group of American, it's okay.

Liberal logic.

IRS: Case Closed, Nothing to See Here

The IRS did not just target conservatives with words like tea party, or patriot in their name, they also targeted liberal organizations that didn't fully go along with the administration's agenda, like the occupy movement. Yes, organizations with the word occupy in their name were also targeted. (Imagine the effect this had on airliner and bus toilet manufacturers.)

Snowden and the Communist Manifest

It's beginning to look a lot like espionage, everywhere you go. Snowden appears to have brought a goody bag of intel that hurts our country and may have pre-planned this before he went to China. He is now engaged in commie country hopping and Julian Assange believes he's on his way to beautiful Ecuador, cha cha cha. Obama refers us to the Justice Department about this case, because if he has an opinion,  might be wrong and this would hurt his image. At least he sees Snowden as a traitor, or at the very least, a security problem, but he said that he wants to do something about the NSA when it's the NSA that's protecting us from terrorism.

Leading from Behind Has its Consequences, Barack

It's beginning to sound like Snowden has more information than originally thought. He's still off the radar, but it's believed he's in Moscow right now. There may be tons of documents in his possession that, if he releases, it will clearly damage national security. Doesn't it worry you that someone like Edward Snowden, a 29 year old high school drop out, military drop out, and Woody Allen-esque bespeckled nerd working for a private contractor, can have the clearance to get his hands on such sensitive information? Doesn't it worry you that he spent time in China, a country that isn't user-friendly to us and would like to rape us of our intellectual property?

Jim McDermott, Useful Idiot

I have a dream. I believe if we can convince liberals like Senator Jim McDermott (Duh-WA) to stop talking before engaging their brains, we might actually have a foothold on combating terrorism more effectively in our country.
I Got Me an Obama Phone

The FBI has launched a bus ad campaign in Seattle to engage the public in helping fight terrorism. A bus advertisement containing the faces of 15 of the FBI's most wanted terrorists are displayed along the side of buses. All 15 are, can you believe, from the Middle East, and all hate everything the United States of America stands for, including all of the freedoms we take for granted in the Bill of Rights and Constitution, and all of these terrorists would gladly kill as many Westerners as they could, even if it meant killing themselves in the process. You see, for them it's their religious duty to do just that--if you don't believe me, read the Koran. I'm tired of quoting it and referencing the Suras that point out the need to subdue us, kill us, tax us, etc. Almost any page will show you something negative about how their god thinks.

The Snowden, Issa, Cummings, Lil' Wayne, Obama Biden Show

Snowden is still on the lam, Issa and Cummings are on the outs, Lil' Wayne desecrated our flag, Obama is absent, and Joe Biden is still the Village Idiot. This is tonight's news--well, I added the Biden comment, but the rest is in the news.

Yo Joe, Where'd Ya Go?

It's good to know that while president Obama is in Northern Ireland for the G8 conference, our country is in good hands with Joe Biden at the helm. Wait--where is Biden? He's been laying low lately and I believe that with all the scandals going on, this is probably the smartest thing he's ever done in his life. Of course he didn't lay completely low. He appeared on June 11th at a fund raiser for Ed Markey where he claims the GOP has changed and now we're beholden to Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. Biden bellowed that the great state of Massachusetts does not need a Republican senator because Obama needs a Democrat to push his socialistic ideas through--actually he didn't exactly say that, but you get my point.

NSA: Nosey Snooping A's

I'm writing this in the comfort of my living room as my wife sleeps on our leather sectional and game two of the Stanley Cup play offs goes into its first overtime--Boston and Chicago are tied at 1. Don Cherry is talking about a player, referring to him as "a good Irish boy," and it's okay. If the player happened to be black and Cherry said he's "a good black boy," he would be out of a job. But I don't want to talk about that today. Just a thought: if Obama was a hockey player, he'd be an empty net goalie. Not much going on there as POTUS.

If You Think Monitoring our Phonecalls will Stop Terrorism, I Have a Bridge to Sell You in Brooklyn

Do you want total privacy and freedom or are you willing to allow the government to place some restrictions on liberties we'd taken for granted on September 10, 2001? The current NSA scandal, where we've learned that they've been keeping Verizon phone records, puts that question right in the forefront of the public.

The president is telling us that our safety would be compromised with complete privacy because we'd be keeping the NSA from watching the "bad guys" if we don't allow them to have access to our phone records and emails. Not that they would be listening in on our conversations, but they would know who was calling the "bad guys," where they called from, and how long the conversation lasted. This would alert them to a possible terrorist attack, they say.

Snowden is Missing and So is Transparency

Edward Snowden was fired today from Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH, humbug) and is likely in hiding. This young man is a hero to himself, his girlfriend pole-dancer, and some others who believe that what he did was justified because it is unconstitutional when the government decides to collect information on its citizens without just cause. Others believe that national security trumps the privacy of our phone numbers. Of course, there is that little thing called email that changes the story quite a bit--email contains actual words, messages, private thoughts, that the government can acquire. That sounds over the top, to me.

How Global Warming will Fry You

Recently, a liberal tweeted something about the perils of global warming and I gently responded to him about the fact that it isn't fact. He said that independent studies showed clearly that global warming is a fact. I begged to differ and he asked me to cite unbiased studies. Well, I normally keep studies that refute morons who make crazy claims, but I didn't happen to have any handy; yet I knew I was correct in saying that there is no proof positive that global warming is fact rather than hypothesis. I eventually blocked the libtard because he refused to budge and I refuse to waste my time trying to convince someone with truth who doesn't care about the truth. But just in case you have scandal overkill and immigration fatigue syndrome, I've put together a few little facts that show global warming is not fact, nor is it fiction.

What to Expect if You Meet a Liberal on the Road

You're on your first date and your date suggests a movie that he or she has been dying to see. You ask the name of the flick and you're told: Capitalism: A Love Story, by none other than Michael-I-Ate-The-Whole-Thing-Moore.  There is no question that you're dating a flaming liberal. You have several options:
a) tell him/her that you don't like going to movies on a first date but that you'd like to show your amazing weapons collection.
b) say you've already seen it but that it was written by a seditious Communist and it makes you break out . . . your weapons collection and clean them all.
c) run, run as fast as you can and don't look back.

That example was quite obvious but there are times when it is much less so. Here are a few more examples of how you can distinguish normal, decent people from liberals.

The Other Ed Show

Edward Snowden is a 29 year old high school dropout who leaked Top Secret information to the Guardian newspaper of England. Snowden worked for the NSA for four years, and currently for Booz Allen Hamilton, a defense contractor. He had also worked for Dell and he is in Hong Kong trying to seek asylum in any country that will have him. Regarding the leak, Snowden is quoted as saying: "I have no intention of hiding who I am because I know I have done nothing wrong."

Insulting Ridiculous Slimeballs (IRS) and Benghazi

The IRS is in "time out." They have finally been caught "backdoor budgeting," which means they would allocate money for a regular project, spend only part of it, then used the leftover money for their partying. Since 2010, they've threw $50 million through the back door. Our $50 million, no one else's.

If you've been watching the hearings on this, hopefully you were as angry as I was when IRS leaders like Douglas Shulman (who said he visited the White House 157 times and could only remember a few occasions, one of which was to go to the Easter egg roll), or Steven Miller, (who obviously was living in a nursing home for Alzheimer patients),  answered the questions posed to them with either amnesia or arrogance.

Hang Down Your Head, Somebody!!

The country is in trouble. I have no doubts. Benghazi seems to have become an old story that people have lost interest in, but we have no answers and four Americans are dead because of the deliberate inaction of this administration.

There was a time in the past when an incident like Benghazi would have been met with a brutal response by us--we would send in the Marines or some military force, but now we just pretend if we don't talk about it, it'll go away. If we speak nicely about the Islamic terrorists who want us dead, maybe they will like us and not want to kill us. After all, if they want to build a mosque at Ground Zero, they have the right--it's religious freedom. If they are offended by our challenging aspects of their religion that directs them to kill us, and do so in a particular manner (beheading the enemy), we must shut up and be nice. All our politicians are doing it--we call it Political Correctness.

Stealing Our Privacy With a Smile and a Lie

Obama spoke at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA today. The topic was the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, aka the Not Really Affordable Care Act, and after the smoke and mirrors, he took a prearranged question from a reporter, if you can call them reporters anymore. The question was obviously about the most recent scandal to hit the public's attention: the records subpoenaing of all Verizon customers in the United States of America--and that's just what we're aware of at this time.

Distractions Lead to Liberal Wins

We all know that the letters GOP stands for "Grand Old Party," but the way things are going lately, one may begin to believe that it stands for "Going Off Point." We have enough scandals in this administration to cover all the ones in the best little whore house in Texas, but Republicans are going after every carrot the Democrats hold out in front of their noses.

Susan Rice just got promoted to National Security Advisor, and Republicans are ready to rumble over the appointment. Not that we can do anything about it since it doesn't go before congress and isn't therefore, up for discussion or questioning. So we need to stop complaining about that and continue focusing on Benghazi and Rice's role in passing along the fake message, and who gave the orders to do that. We need to dig deeper into what Obama was doing during the missing 8 hours after he got the call on Benghazi.

Barack Obama's Next Book

As every writer knows, it's easier to get sidetracked on the Internet than it is to write. For me, this is especially true for Twitter. If I find an Obama trend, or even a Hillary or Joe Biden trend, I'm busy trying to be clever. Sometimes I actually am clever, or at least I believe I am.

Yesterday a trend came up called #BarackObamasNextBook. Now you can't expect any opinionated conservative like me to let that one go before putting in my two cents. In this case, I believe I put in a whole dollars worth of tweets. (I used to call them 'twits' but now reserve that moniker for liberals.) So now where I wasted a few hours of valuable writing time, I can turn that waste into today's blog. It's kind of like Obama's use of pond scum as energy for a bright tomorrow.

The tweets below are mine but there were many great ones that I didn't think proper to poach. If you'd like to add some of your own, please feel free to do so in the comment section.

Put Down That Computer Keyboard and Back Away Slowly

Social media will soon be Big Brother Media if the Obama administration gets its way. If you blog, use Facebook, Twitter or send email, the Department of Justice, headed by Eric-I-Don`t-Remember-Holder, will be watching what you say about the big wide wonderful world of Islam.

The Obama administration is launching a series of Muslim Outreach Summits as a platform for Muslims to tell us, the ordinary American infidels, how they can better serve the community. I expect to hear suggestions like, "We want to volunteer to be airport security baggage inspectors," and such. But I think that one way to start would really be for Muslims who hear chatter in their mosques about terrorist plots, to turn those people into authorities (just as long as it isn't the DoJ). It would also be nice (Jewish people call nice a "mitzvah") if Islamic organizations actually denounce jihad and those who religiously commit it against us.
